When it installed I have some I’ve visited the Intel site and I don’t see any available options for drivers there Intel is not obligated under any other agreements unless they are in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Intel.

The onboard intel sound problem has been investigated several times on this forum with the latest of suggestions being as you’ve stated buying a compatible addon sound card. Hope this helps, and if you need a backup or replacement dglc or dgbf we still have them. The only issue I’m having is no sound.
