Space Quest 5 doesn’t start with Sound Blaster enabled. The chip was capable of spatializing all audio automatically, but still required DirectSound3D usage for specific localization of sounds. And indeed it doesn’t start I also tried hooking up a Roland through the joystick port, no luck.
