HP2009M SOUND DRIVER DOWNLOAD
I tried a few things in a attempt to solve it such as: I made sure that my headphones are the default playback Asia Pacific and Oceania. My laptop speakers work fine however, and I tried re-installing drivers. After this is setup make sure that Speakers is the default playback device in the audio properties in Control Panel.

That has a slider. Europe, Middle East, Africa. I found out the sound card is by Via Technologies so now I’m grabbing drivers from there and hoping that works. Information and links in this thread may no longer be available h2009m relevant. Glad we could help, good job A Guy.

If the volume is adequate using another software program, the issue is with the computer, not the monitor. The speakers just aren’t there. Headset mic working but its speakers working.
That’s all there is to it. Hope this helps someone understand better. Using the buttons on the monitor, navigate through the onscreen display OSD menu to find audio or speaker settings and enable the speakers. Please help, I’m going a little batty. Check that the audio cable is connected properly.

I tried going in the Sound Device through control panel, but I am not able to click on anything. Everything is in place but the sound is very low. Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1.
I get a message that tells me they’re not plugged wound, but they are. Not all monitors come with built-in speakers. Pardon my stupidity but what is the HDMI cable?

They were working in Vista still work if I boot into itjust not in 7. I’m having this same problem with my new m monitor – no audio!
