I have owned at least three or four of these over the years, and I’m pretty sure that there was a major change in the manufacturing and materials along the way. This TrackMan was reasonably comfortable to use, but the fixed wrist rest was not really appreciated by everyone.

Also, the hole which was supposed to let you move the ball with your thumb was more of a gimmick than a practical alternative. Or stick with virtual player but netbook doesn’t have much for resources.

Logitech Wireless Trackball M – Traclman originally bought this trackball only because it is compatible with the Logitech Unifying receiver, and I believe it is still the only Unifying trackball. Physically the M trackball is similar to the original TrackMan Marble described above.
